Warehouse and Materials Co-ordinator

Immediate start.

Days of work: Monday – Friday

Hours of work: 8am – 5pm

Working as part of the Materials and Warehouse team for one of our clients, you will be an ambassador for our company. You will be responsible for all aspects of Material Co-ordination and warehouse operations, whilst maintaining accurate information within SAP You will work within the companies site guidelines, maintaining housekeeping procedures, including H&S.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Presenting a positive image of the Company through first class service delivery and customer engagement, building effective relationships across the business.
  • Support all warehouse functions including Receipts, Despatch and Inventory, inclusive of stock counts.
  • Correctly store materials to minimise the possibility of damage or deterioration.
  • Ensure orders for material repairs are properly and promptly actioned and despatched in accordance with procedures, and that SAP is updated accordingly.
  • Input, create, including shipping manifests, retrieve and report data using the SAP system, ensuring accuracy and appropriate presentation style
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and suggest improvements/changes to the process where required.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards within the warehouse and operating areas.
  • Ensure Global/Standard Operating Procedures and HSEQ guidelines are complied with at all times.
  • Liaise with customers, offshore facilities and other internal departments regarding materials movement.
  • Ensure the safe use of forklifts and lifting equipment, including loading/unloading of vehicles in line with Training and Operating Procedures and HSEQ standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, colleagues and vendors to support all aspects of our client’s operation.
  • Must be flexible regarding working additional hours as required due to operational requirements and be available to work at other locations, this includes our own sites, or our client sites as required
  • Carry out any ad-hoc duties within your training and competency as requested by the business to support the operation

Minimum Competencies (Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours)

  • A proven track record within Warehousing and Materials
  • Customer focused with the ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
  • Commercial acumen and motivated to produce continuous improvements and cost savings.
  • Accustomed to working effectively in a fast-paced environment, flexible and can adapt to changing workloads and priorities, where high standards are not compromised under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and in writing.
  • Ability to work stand-alone, demonstrating initiative and ownership, while a positive contributor to the wider team.
  • Motivated to achieve the highest standards of performance and customer support, maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Solutions based with strong planning, organising and numeric skills, and an excellent attention to detail.
  • Computer literate with well-developed IT skills across the Microsoft suite and a practical understanding of data entry and reporting applications, specifically in SAP.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Manual Handling awareness
  • Counterbalance Forklift
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Valid UK Driving Licence

Desirable Qualifications/Competencies

  • COSHH Awareness
  • HSE related Training
  • Dangerous Goods awareness
  • Forklift Truck licence
